Carrie offers more than a decade of experience in the media and publishing industries. She worked at several newspapers across the Southeast, including The State, The Beaufort Gazette, The (Florence)Morning News and The Augusta Chronicle. Carrie switched her energies to book publishing in 2004. While at a regional publishing house in Georgia, Carrie climbed from managing editor and director of marketing to publisher in less than two years.

 

Carrie has successfully negotiated a number of subsidiary rights agreements, including a movie option.

 

Carrie McCullough is also on the board of directors of the South Carolina Writers Conference. She's on the faculty of the upcoming SCWW conference, from Oct. 24 through Oct. 26, 2008, at the Hilton Myrtle Beach Resort in Myrtle Beach, S.C.
